NO More US Soccer Developmental Academy

On Wednesday, US Soccer announced its decision to end the U.S. Soccer Development academy.  This decision was effective immediately.

MLS teams made their own announcement.  They will be offering a year round competitive program for their MLS academies.

There are also several Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) teams that may be absorbing some of the players from the Development Academy teams.

US Soccer posted the following letter addressing their decision on twitter.

US Soccer had previously decided to suspend their operations and stop their 2020 Spring Cup.  This was in response to the Coronavirus.

GoSoccerPro will share additional information as we receive it.
